Overview

The Compagnie Forestière et de Transformation Sarl, or "CFT," is a forestry company located in Tshopo Province. CFT holds the exclusive rights to the timber produced from its concessions, thus ensuring a reliable and straightforward source of supply. It owns a sawmill on-site in Kisangani, which processes only logs sourced from CFT concessions. It has a sustainable forest management policy and makes every effort to comply with current DRC regulations and the requirements of sustainable management system standards established for the legality verification program, regarding forest management, logging, industrial wood processing, taxes, duties, and other related matters. This aims to meet the concepts of sustainable management as an economically viable, socially acceptable, and environmentally equitable activity.
