Overview
TIMBERLAND INDUSTRIES is a company specializing in timber harvesting and processing in the Central African Republic. Founded in 2007, its headquarters are located in Bangui. Its logging operations are in Nola, situated in the southwest of the country in a tropical rainforest area approximately 100 kilometers north of Dzanga-Ndoki National Park, at the confluence of the Kadéï and Mambéré rivers, which join to form the Sangha River. The Mambéré is the name given to the Sangha River upstream from Nola. Timberland manages the PEA-188 forest, covering a total area of 230,000 hectares. TIMBERLAND INDUSTRIES maintains a liaison office in Douala, located in Bonabéri, for the shipment of its timber.
